30th Anniversary of Earth Day

A fund raising event (donation requested) featuring:

• A 6K (3.4 Mile) walk/ fun run in the Natural Area of Umstead State Park (music and free along the way)
• Music

  • Hooverville
  • Memphis
• Environmental Education Exhibits
• Free Food
• Door Prizes

Funds raised will be used to support environmental education and land acquisition for Umstead State Park.

Schedule:

• 9-9:45am Sign in at registration desk, turn in money collected from supporters and pick up materials.
• 10-11:30am Walk or run in Umstead State Park
• 11am-5pm Celebration: free food, live music, door prizes, and environmental exhibits.

At Reedy Creek Road off Blue Ridge Road.
